Been listening to this one a lot recently. It took me years to get into that track and I am so ashamed of myself... When it finally clicked I couldn't stop dancing.

Nothing tops the Yotto remix for me. Absolutely loved that album though from start to finish.

Glad to see weβre considering Rubicon a classic.
Side note: at what point do you guys start considering something to be a classic?

Side note: at what point do you guys start considering something to be a classic? I was thinking the exact same question!

Glad to see weβre considering Rubicon a classic. Side note: at what point do you guys start considering something to be a classic? As soon as I know it's going to be something I still listen to ten years later. This would fall into the category of "instant classic." For example, the first time I heard Genix's Run, I knew it was a classic.

For example, the first time I heard Genix's Run, I knew it was a classic. I think thatβs fair. Northern Soul is a bit over a year old and yet I knew itβd be a classic by the time Common Ground came out. After ~5 years is where I think itβs safe to say something is timeless. Sometimes I see what theyβre picking as the flashback track on ABGT each week and Iβm shocked that theyβre picking something so recent, then I remember that stuff like Once Lydian and Hello are 5+ years old now...

Same here. When I first started to listen to TATW/GT religiously around 2012, they'd play tracks from the 90s/early 00s that is first heard back when I got into electronic music in the mid 00s. It always surprises me when they play tracks from the 2012-14 era as the flashback track - makes me feel old (and I am now, haha).

Helion (Norin & Rad Remix) is almost 8 years old...
It's hard thinking that any N&R track is older than 2-3 years lol.

I was listing to some old tracks the other week and I could not for the life of me remember what this track sounded like but when I heard it I was bloody blown away by this track.
It is so trippy, euphoric and even have some breakbeat going on in it, this is just nuts I can't believe I overlooked this! This could of been made both today and in the early 2000s, I feel this got overshadowed by iPeople. though.
