great episode! im not a fan of these transitions though, theyre so not smooth. it feels as if he had 10 tracks he really wanted to include in the mix without thinking about the flow of the mix

I love that they're finally releasing Daniels Mixmag ID 2, but sad at the changes made. Love it either way. Awesome edition so far!

Totally in love with Wendy Legs (sounds funny, I know). Didn't like it much on the first listen but now it has grown on me a lot

Those are the only two from recent months that come to mine though.

I know - I thought there might be some clubbier mixes now that deep seems to have found their groove again.

Are we looking at a future where the majority of Anjunadeep releases are no longer club / dancefloor orientated and the label transitions into a downtempo / ambient, melancholy Old People's home?
Ultimately, if things continue as they are, you're more likely to find yourself falling asleep to the latest Anjunadeep tracks in a hipster coffee shop rather than experience them destroying a dancefloor (like they used to).

Yes! I was just listening to that PROFF remix the other day, what a tune. That entire release was gold.

Sorry, going a bit off-topic here: I don't know why it pisses you off that much... Deep is very far from being an ambient/downtempo label (the last Ryan Davis EP would be the only exception) and there are plenty of decent labels around still putting out both the clubbier deep house vibes (Suara, Diynamic, Knee Deep In Sound) as well as the classic progressive sounds (Intricate, Silk).

You aren't off topic.
However, there's a difference between being "pissed off" and being a bit sad that the character of a label has changed - and missing what it used to be.
The labels you mention are all great in their own way, however, they have their own "sound". Nobody is releasing tracks with the same depth of quality, mesmerising progression and devastating groove that Anjunadeep used to.
Anyway, I really enjoy a large percentage of what Deep is currently releasing, it's lovely music to relax and chill to - and it's all produced with great love which really shines through the heart of the music. I wouldn't want the label to stop producing the beautiful downtempo stuff, however, I think there's room and a half for a bit of diversity of style and for a few more releases with a livelier tempo, classic character and dancefloor orientation. I'd like to see the label stay Anjunadeep and not become entirely Anjunasleep.
