Really nice track! The intro reminds me a bit of something Sunny Lax would do and it's nice and driving. I'm not a producer so I can't provide you any serious critique, though my only complaint is the snare leading up to the drop. Other than that, great track.

Thanks Boz, glad you're feeling it... I've been very slowly fine tuning my skills over the last four years, this is only the second full track i have ever completed. I'm definitely trying to go for that chunkier/groovy element which Lax does pretty well, and other than him by far my biggest inspiration is Oliver Smith. I not only wanted this to have that satisfying drive from the bass groove, but I wanted ethereal elements in the intro to progressively build up and really give it a "close your eyes" trancyness feel.
For the snare is it the sound itself or the volume, snares are a tricky one.

It's more the sound itself. It's not nearly as bad as something like Tightrope because it only happens for a short time and not the whole lead. I thought the volume was pretty fair. Would need to relisten to refresh my memory.

I can't speak from a technical standpoint, but musically I really liked it. It has a kind of old school Garuda sound mixed with that sunny lax bass which I think compliment each other well. I like the driving, but understated drop too, not enough artists do that anymore.

Thanks for the kind feedback svenmo; I think you're right, it does have DNA in it reminiscent of the old school Garuda sound which can be pleasing. I'll give credit where credit is due, one of the bass layers is a derivative of one of Sunny Lax' serum presets
