My 2017 yearmix - 2.0 and uplifting trance

Finally it is here – my 2017 year mix. Sorry it’s so late – other commitments and wanting to make sure the mix was ‘right’ are to blame!

What started out as a 5+ hour mix I’ve condensed into 2 hours (who wants to listen to 5 hours!)

Although there are multiple ‘phases’, there are 2 high-level main segments to it – everything up until “Ilan Bluestone – Another Lover” is the current 2.0 stuff, and within that segment I’ve tried to build pace and energy. The Gabriel & Dresden track “Waiting For Winter“ is somewhat of a bridging track taking the mix into the more uplifting side of things. When we hit that section and move towards 140bpm the transitions are a lot shorter but the idea was to keep the energy high and squeeze more into those 2 hours.


I hope just a few listen from beginning to end and can provide some feedback – anything to help me improve.
