First thoughts: Many new names, which is great! Feels like the first CD will be more ambient one. Zoo Brazil on Anjunadeep? Wow

I haven't been excited for a Deep album in YEARS. 2019 has been a great year for this so I'm hyped this time around.

Even though I really liked this year for Deep, I didnβt think 10 was amazing. Mildly excited for this one, though Iβll still preorder it as always.

Wow this looks fantastic! So many new names to the label and excited to have some big appearances with Durante, Zoo Brazil, Amtrac, Braxton the list goes on. Also glad to get new Qrion with "Mars" and interested to see who Leaving Laurel is. I'm pretty sure their track was played by Penelope and Donnelly at the 350 after party (2nd last track) and sounded fantastic. Oh, and not to mention the return of Yotto, Estelle, Luttrell, Marsh and CRi. Super pumped for this one!

Well well well!!! What lovely track list.
I am very happy to see Budakid, he is one of the best performing artists of this year for me and he is very suitable for Anjunadeep, also Jon Gurd who also has made one of my favourite tracks this year so glad to see them both!
Very big surprised to see Amtrac and Zoo Brazil and also not 1 but 2 Wisternoff & Grant tracks!!
Also sssooo glad to see new Dosem, Marsh, Nox Vahn, GRAZZE, Qrion & Frost as well as regulars Lane 8, Yotto, Cubicolor, Ben Bohmer, Lutrell and Martin roth!!!
Very excited to hear the new stuff like Anjunadeep 10 there was not a lot of people I heard before but was one of my favourite comps from the series so looking forward to the new acts!

HAvent likes any Deep comps in a while, but this lineup looks interesting and the label has impressed me lately. Hoping this is my favorite volume in a while.

Seems like a large chunk of the comp got released early on Spotify.
How odd.
Edit: its just Disc 1

2nd half of Disc 1 is way more upbeat then previous comps. Very pleased with the direction of it so far. Chiaroscuro is amazing

CD2 is absolute choon city. This has to be the danciest Deep disc in years! Dosem - Extraction absolutely rocked my socks at the Weekender last summer and I've been dying for it ever since.
Not to mention how sublime that James Grant & Tinlicker Edit of Surrender is.

Simon Doty is a huge standout for me as well as Zoo Brazil
Marsh can do absolutely no wrong on anjunadeep too
CD 1 is better overall than prior years and less anjunasleep CD 2 is absolutely sublime

This is my favorite volume in a loooong time. Disc 2 is the best second disc since Jaytech was mixing these. They finally mastered combining ambient, Deep and progressive on the comps.

My only gripe after listening for a couple of times is that the mix builds up to the middle part of the 2nd disk Dosem/Yotto part and loses some energy afterward. I would've personally rearranged 2nd disk a little bit.

I would've personally rearranged 2nd disk a little bit. I thought the same, and itβs a pretty common complaint I have for all Deep comps that James & Jody mix. They just love to throw in a lower energy song after picking up the pace, then go right back to the higher energy stuff. Itβs too jarring

Makes no sense energy wise

This mix keeps getting better and better every time I listen to it. That Alex Metric and Amtrak collab reminds me a lot of βBattery Lifeβ which is one of my all time favorites.

Disc 1 is fantastic, Disc 2 has some great tunes but does suffer, as others have noted, from some questionable mixing selections

Human is so utterly beautiful. Cannot get enough of this one. Easily Marshβs best solo tune so far

Makes no sense energy wise I feel like maybe the reason they do this might be because James & Jody might be trying to tell more of a story with their mixes on these compilations to have more mixed emotions and feelings of energy rather then the constant flow of energy in the mix as Anjunadeep is not a fully energetic label. I don't know I'm also a little drunk but, the more I think about it the more it makes sense to me, as Jody & James defiantly run things much differently then A&B despite the label sharing the same name.
