Buy/Stream: anjunadeep.ffm.to/meutep.oytFollow Anjunadeep New Releases on Spotify: Anjunadeep.lnk.to/NewReleases... Release Date: 14th January 2020 ---- Since making his label debut on Explorations 07 in 2018, Marsh has solidified himself as a budding label favourite and future star. Championed by the likes of Joris Voorn, Kolsch, and Phil Taggart at BBC Radio 1, Marsh now continues his impressive run with the ‘Eu Topos’ EP.
Marsh’s tapestry of melodic sound-design is on full show, characteristically weaving driving bass and groove-laden percussion in ‘Eu Topos’ and ’Sit Tight’, and demonstrating his penchant for nostalgic melodies in ‘Joy’. Another fantastic standalone release, ‘Eu Topos’ signals some big things to come for 2020.
Taking inspiration from the concept of 'utopia' (derived from the Greek word 'ou-topos', meaning 'no place' or 'nowhere'), Marsh has worked with @giovannyestrellaphoto to create a kaleidoscopic music video depicting peace, nature, and urbanity.

Not bad but I’ve never particularly been the biggest fan of Marsh. His music isn’t bad, it’s just not attention catching for me

'Joy' is my early pretendent of 2020 best track. Absolutely love it!

My taste will always lie in the higher energy / more dancey Deep, aka 07, or towards the more emotional stuff (like the new Leaving Laurel EP.) What have you been liking presently on the label?

So I was actually a big fan of the Leaving Laurel EP as well, but my favorite stuff recently has all been Luttrell and Marsh, as well as Nox Bohn. Brainwasher is an absolute beast. But Luttrell is the closest the label has now to the funky, progressive sounds they had when Jaytech was boss. How i miss those days...

But Luttrell is the closest the label has now to the funky, progressive sounds they had when Jaytech was boss. How i miss those days... I've been liking more of Luttrell's stuff recently and the first single from the next album has piqued my interest. Cool to see him doing breakbeat stuff. I know everyone raves about Brainwasher but it doesn't quite do it for me. Can see why everyone loves it but it's just not for me. I do like his Prospect EP with Marsh though, and their b2b at the ABGT Weekender was one of the highlights of the weekend.
I've really enjoyed Qrion's releases and her 350 set. The Sine Wave Party and Sapporo EPs were excellent and I love the style she brings. Also really enjoyed Room 1.5, Moon Boots, and John Monkman's contributions to Deep last year. Edu Imbernon - SYL was a highlight too.

Almost a month later and I still can't figure out which one is my favorite. I've had this comp on repeat for the past 3 weeks. It's exactly what I wanted from Marsh.
